Free Mortgage Calculator Widget
The mortgage widget is the full PITI calculation, not just principal and interest. Your visitors enter a home price, down payment, rate, and term, and the embed adds annual property tax and homeowners insurance to the payment, plus PMI, applied automatically whenever the down payment lands under 20 percent of the price. That last part is why payment estimates elsewhere on the web so often come in low.
It is the calculator most worth embedding if you write about housing or talk to buyers for a living. A listing page, a "how much house can I afford" post, or a loan officer's service page all raise the same question in the reader's head, and answering it in place beats sending them to a lender's lead form.

Mortgage Calculator widget FAQs
Yes. The embed carries the same inputs as the full calculator: home price, down payment, rate, term, annual property tax, and annual homeowners insurance. PMI is added automatically when the down payment is below 20 percent of the price, so the payment your visitors see is a full PITI estimate rather than principal and interest alone.
Not yet. Every embed opens on the same national defaults and visitors change them from there. Per-embed defaults are the most requested widget feature and are on the list; today the honest answer is that a visitor in your market will need to type their own numbers in.
No. The embed shows the inputs and the payment summary so it fits inside an article without dominating the page. The full month-by-month schedule and the balance-over-time chart are on the mortgage calculator page, which the widget links to under its results.
